The docmetric Monitor demo shows, how frequently the most common diseases were diagnosed for privately insured patients in South Africa in 2018. We have grouped these diseases into infectious diseases and other common diseases. The diagrams show the projected diagnostic frequency per 100,000 inhabitants in practices of general practitioners, physicians and pediatrics.

For data protection reasons, the diagrams and the map only show data for those diseases, municipal districts and weeks in which at least 4 diagnoses of the corresponding disease have been made. The averages and sums are calculated based on those records only for which data are available. This means, for example, that municipal districts for which no data is available are not included in the averages or annual totals.
